Minecraft name: My Name For This Server Is MatthewNico. I Was A Minecraft Player That Join Hown Town. I Had The Knowledge To Not Be A Bad Person Because My Brother LittleNeek Was Stupid Enough To Get An Enchanted Table And Anvil From A Public Place That Provided Those Things. Anyways He Put Them In His Ender Chest And I Happened To Not Do The Same Thing, But Still Get Banned.

Reason for your ban: The Reason Why I Was Banned Was Because I Was Griefing Other People's House Or Stuff And Trespassing On Other People's Property Without Asking Them If I Can Go Inside There Property. Being Very Stupid And Going To People's Home And Not Stealing Anything But Still Going In His/Her House And I Might Make A Mess By Going In The Houses Or People's Home Or Things.

Who banned you: The Person Who Banned Me From The Server Was Named DK. I Don't Really Remember A Lot About Him, But I He Was One Of The Moderators Of Home Town. I Do I Remember That He Was A Good Moderator And He Can Catch Bad People Doing Bad Things. EX: MatthewNico and Littleneek.

Why should you be unbanned: I Will Behave And I Will Make Sure That I Will Help Others Even If I Have To Help OP People In The Server. Sure I Might Screw Up And I Might Be Annoying Sometimes, But If You Think I Would Be A Helpful Person, Then You Might Be Right Or You Might Be Wrong. I Will Try My Best.

Why do you want to come back: Because I Miss This Server And I Miss You Guys Because You Guys Are My Friends And I Have My Cousin Playing This Server And I Want To See Her Again, Plus When I Was On The Server I Made A Lot Of Friends Even Moderators Like Me And As A Friend I Will Help Them Even If Its Impossible. I Have Learned My Lesson. Maybe I Should Help You Guys Out More. Maybe I Could Help You Find THe End, Build Your House, Make A Farm For You, Or Even Make A New MiniGame For The Server. Why should you be unbanned: Basically a second chance...I stumbled upon some torches and took a few, I saw some NPC villagers and placed some fences around the doors because after looking around, the place was a mess and I thought should stay inside the house for protection. I think the point of the no griefing rule is to stop players with the sole intention of destroying and messing up other people's creations...and also making other people's day a really crappy one. I understand I broke this rule, but I had no intention of messing up the NPC village. But regardless of what I think, I broke this rule. If I get unbanned, I promise not to grief anybody. Which includes removing and placing materials regardless of my intention or the harm done. 

Why do you want to come back: Because (1) it was a honest mistake, and (2) I kinda started on the server today...I stocked up on some raw materials and I don't really want my effort to be wasted. Also to Kat, I appreciate the fact that you got my attention and notified me about the situation before waving the ban hammer. Thank you and have a nice day

Just upgraded from the isolated world of PS3. Relatively new to minecraft and SUPER EXCITED to join the community. Having mac crash issues so have only got as far as the first few rule signs and already loving the values you all share. Hopefully once I get up and running Ill be able to contribute and get to know the world. Thanks for having me!

Hey guys, it's Ginga, and today I wanted to talk about /warp market. Since the server reset it has been removed for certain reasons. But I have thought about it and wanted to propose an idea about bringing it back.

   So the main reason that /warp market was removed was because of the amount of effort that it took to constantly check the shops to make sure they were in stock, as well as checking the /warp market thread to see who wanted a shop there. I know talking to several staff members (meaning two) that it took a lot out of them day after day checking shops and checking forums to make sure the market wasn't completely out of stock.

   I know for a fact that people used /warp market, as I always see players there shopping for items they need. I, for one, constantly used it, waltzing around and collecting wood or food to supply my everyday needs. It gave players a chance to start a shop and make some money, which makes the HT world go 'round. Although I never owned a shop there, I know it helped player's shop names get out, like Big. From Big's market stall, I learned about his other shops that he owned, and I was happy that I found new shops to buy from.

   Also, like I stated above, /warp market helped players advertise their shop. Whether it was from owning a shop or placing an ad on the ad stands, it helped players get their shop name out to the people and helped them gather business. Whenever I needed items that /warp market stalls didn't have, I checked the ad signs and would see who had shops that I could check out. It also helped me find towns and farms that I could use to help myself survive. I'm sure there are other players that could say the same thing. And, the fact that it's free, really helps players starting out a chance to make it big here on HT.


   Now I can see how staff and other players could not want the return of /warp market. Like I said earlier, it takes a lot out of staff to check if players have kept their shops stocked and checking forums for new entrepeneurs that want to purchase a stall. I could see how players with larger shops could not want market because it might draw business away from them, causing them to lose money.


   So, after thinking for awhile, I have come up with an idea about /warp market. Maybe instead of having a staff member run the forums, maybe have a player who is willing to spend time doing the work to keep tabs on shops. Obviously, the player would have to have some perks, so I could see how that could be shot down. Second, change the bi-weekly check to a weekly check. Yes, that means a bit more work, but it ensures that /warp market is stocked and is useful to players. Finally, instead of having 2 warnings regarding the shop being stocked, bump it down to 1 warning. This gives players who are active a change to move into a stall that an inactive player is holding.


  Anyways, this is my plan for /warp market. There are some good things that I think might help /warp market and re-open it to the public for players to use. In my opinion, it really helped players make money and get their other shops out to the public, so they can make more money. It also helped players find the items they need without warping constantly to find a shop that's in stock, or that sells the item in general. Bringing /warp market back will require some work, but in the end it could really benefit the server greatly.

I didnt so anything wrong, because I went to the LOCAL farm, took carrots and wheat, but i tried my best to place it all back. That is not considered being a theif, especially since it was a LOCAL farm.

I would like to get unbanned because ive been on MANY SMP server, and this is the only one that seemed to make since. Plus i spent alot of time building my house, getting acheivements, and also it has a pretty nice community.

Anybody else use Facebook?  Would it be a good idea to have a closed HometownMC Facebook Group?

i am so sorry for griefing, i sincerely apologize, im fairly new to the server and my best friend and i were working on this amazing house that we would love to finish together! i feel really bad about what happened with the villagers, i promise i will stay out of everyone's hair and i will just be working on my house and getting supplies from now on. i realize what i did was very wrong, i really love this server and i was planning on getting a rank. please please please forgive my mistakes, i know now that i should have asked before taking, im sorry.

Okay so I don't know if this has been done before, but nonetheless let's do it. 
So in this game, you basically think of any time you have, or make up one, said something in minecraft that you would by no means say in real life(IRL). This could either be because it could be interpreted inappropriately IRL, sounds hilarious IRL, sounds too complicated IRL, or a different reason. 

Heres some examples:
I'm going to kill this guy, you take his stuff.

Do you want to go mining?
Does anyone sell spider eyes?



I'm going to leave the rest up to you! I have created this game because as I go on in minecraft, I keep saying or thinking things about the game that sound crazy in real life. So I hope you enjoy this game, maybe give a reason why you would never say this IRL, or maybe build off of others'  posts.
