Okay, here's a Discord think-tank idea: parkour jail. You get jailed and muted, then you do sadistic parkour until the end where there is an /unjail and /unmute signs. We need builders with access to the creative world and lots of sadistic ideas for this jail. You can make it as big, cruel, and merciless as you want; it's a punishment after all.
That being said, you will not be working for free. It will be a competition of sorts to make the best jail possible. The winner will receive $10k in-game currency, which is being graciously donated by ObscuredKaoz <[VIP3] Obby>.
Anyone's who's game, please, post a comment below. To give anyone and everyone a fair shot, the build competition will conclude October 1st, 2016. You all will have a month and a half to complete the build.
Hello! Over a year ago, I found a website from a streamer that I watched, and fell in love with the idea. A few months later, I decided to create my own community on this website, and share it with everyone on HomeTown.
If you've been living under a rock or haven't bothered to read the title, this website was called plug.dj . The plug is a place where you can take turns playing music, chat, and have a great time, with a few restrictions of course.
If you don't already have a plug.dj account, then the link should direct you to a sign up screen.
But first, lets take a look at the rules for this community (which can be found at anytime in the community, click on the music note in the top left corner of the website)
Rules:
-No playing porn -No playing regular YouTube videos (E. A let's play) -No sexism, racism, or offense towards another player or in general. This includes slurs of any kind -No spamming/repeating songs -No songs over 7 minutes, unless its just you -No Minecraft Parodies -No racist, sexist, or offensive music videos -Don't troll -No racist, sexist, or offensive songs -Only people from Hometown (Minecraft Server) allowed -Don't ask for ranks
Some rules may change over time, check on them every once and awhile.
Now, some of these rules may seem a little strange, but they're for the best (lmao)
A majority of these can be tolerated with a ban ranging anywhere from 1 hour to a permanent ban, but some are tolerated with a skip, mute, or warning. (I'll get into the specifics of those in another post)

Right, so here are how the rules will be tolerated
-No playing porn -Playing any porn will be tolerated with a 24 hour ban. If you continue after the ban has been lifted, you will be permanently banned.
-No playing regular YouTube videos (E. A let's play) - Playing YouTube videos, or any other video can get you a force skip if done continuously, you will get an hour ban*
-No sexism, racism, or offense towards another player or in general. This includes slurs of any kind - This rule depends on the severity of the comments you make, one comment will get you a mute for however long the staff member thinks is necessary, several can land you day-long ban or a permanent ban, based on what you said.
-No spamming/repeating songs - Tolerated with a force skip, or an hour ban.
-No songs over 7 minutes, unless its just you - Tolerated with a force skip
-No Minecraft Parodies - Tolerated with a force skip.
-No racist, sexist, or offensive music videos -Tolerated with a force skip, or a ban depending on how severe they are and/or how often you play them.
-Don't troll - Tolerated with a mute or a ban
-No racist, sexist, or offensive songs - Tolerated with a force skip, or a ban depending on how severe the song is and/or how often you play it. Yes, this includes songs with the N-word in them.
-Only people from Hometown (Minecraft Server) allowed - If you're new to the plug, you will be asked what your username is, failing to respond when a staff member asks you, will be tolerated with an hour long ban. If you don't belong to the HomeTown server, you will be asked to leave, failure to do so, will result in a permanent ban.
-Don't ask for ranks - Pretty simple rule, if you do ask for a rank, you will be muted for 15 minutes.
If any of these rules are broken continuously, the punishments may be more severe.
Why should you be unbanned: This is what i believe i was banned for. i believe it is talking about using the tree farm adn not planting back. but the leafs would not go away and i did not want to plant if there would be no tree growing back. i should have asked for help but i didnt. i am sorry.
Why do you want to come back: I stopped playing minecraft for about a month and i came back and found this server and i have loads of fun. i found someone and we started building the the random world and have put alot of effort into it. i know you all put effort into maintaining the server and i see why i was banned. I would like to be able to come back ASAP as i enjoy very much so playing on the server. Thank you for your understanding.
Today I will be addressing my warps that I currently own and are open to the public.
First I'm gonna start with the oldest of my warps: /warp villager_shop /warp villager_shop is my shop that I, Drakeboy007, currently owns for a sorce of income and profit. Only problem is that people aways say that my shop is "Overpriced and too expensive" I have lowered the prices countless times but still no one buys from me. Please help me out and explain why. And while in the topic of my shop, I have been curing villagers in the back and they have decently good trades so I'm wondering, should I sell them too?
Next We Have /warp stringfarm /warp stringfarm is an easy sorce of string thats super efficient due to me having 2 cave spider spawners and a hopper minecart going underneath all the magma blocks (which are killing all the spiders) and collecting the drops. Still only problem is that no one uses it due to sheep farms. I'm soon gonna run a test to see how much string i get in 1 hour so I will see which one is better.
Finally we have /warp dustville /warp dustville (the newest of my warps) is a town in a desert biome. Sounds pretty good, but people complain that my plots are too small. I will agree some at the front of town are, but since then, I have made bigger/better plots to fit people's requests. It looks empty now, but I'll decorate it soon and we will hopefully be all fine and dandy. Sidenote: All plots there are $10 so you should go check it out :p)
Anyway, to get to the point here, I want recommendations to see how I can improve these warps to make better for this community we have here. So leave recommendations in the comments below VVVVVVVVVVVV
hello i am dyepaintball. i was kicked for girefing. i think it is referring to me using the tree farm and not planting back. the leaf would not go away and i kept messegeing people asking why. i am sorry i love playing on the server and it will not happen again. i was hoping i can get let back into the server soon. it is the only reason i play minecraft anymore.
Can you expand the border pls i want to build stuff but there is hardly anymore room. Everytime i do /rand there is someone near or i am in someones base.
Hi all, Not sure if this is the right place to ask. I own a furniture shop here in Toronto, started 5 months ago. I’m worried because the sales are not doing so good, may be because it’s just new. But still, I think it’s high time for the sales to catch up because it’s been 5 long months. So, I was thinking of advertising my shop to promote the sales. I didn’t want the old traditional way, but something new and different, like outdoor advertising? So, I was looking for some trends in outdoor marketing, and I found this blog by Grassroots Advertising, and I just loved the ideas. Billboards are so cool and I’m sure will attract people’s attention faster. What I wanted to ensure from you all is that is a good idea right? Because I personally have never seen any such bill boards for a furniture shop. But maybe we can start off, right?? Any suggestions or ideas ? Please help. Thanks in advance. !!
i have voted countless times but im still not being premoted. its frustrating trying to help this server but to everyone else i look lazy. can anyone please help?
First all, I'd like to say I'm not going to be surprised if posting this gets me banned. I'm also expecting them to have next to no punishment, because of course any friends they may have on this server will come running to defend them. Also, I have very few screenshots because I didn't believe it would escalate to this. Here's how everything started:
I just joined the server today, after a couple of jokes, Lexachu decided I was trolling and told me to stop or else I would be muted/banned (don't remember exact words, happened about 2 hours ago). I made a few more jokes then stopped and didn't talk for about an hour and a half. I joined the Plug.Dj and had my song skipped, then read the rules and corrected it. Some kids decided that was enough to berate me, so of course I said things back to them, which got me a 24 hour ban from Plug.Dj. After messaging Lexachu demanding an explanation because it's ridiculous that I got punished for defending myself. Viloceraptor decided to intervene and message me, saying I was disrespecting staff because I said to Lexachu, "Are you ignoring me because you know I'm right?". Then I asked him how was I disrespecting staff, and he told me I needed to stop being disrespectful. I tried to understand how I was being disrespectful so I could maybe fix whatever I was doing wrong. He then told me I was "being annoying" and "pestering him". He then threatened to ban me for absolutely no reason. I think these staff members need to be either demoted or need to be trained and study whatever handbook you have in place for them.
I've edited the messages to hopefully make them easy to read. It was all I was able to screenshot. If he has any counter-evidence of me doing anything actually wrong I'd encourage him to post it here on this thread.
PLEASE DO NOT CLOSE/LOCK THE THREAD, I WANT EVERYONE TO BE ABLE TO SHARE THEIR OPINIONS.
Edit - He either logged off or just decided to ignore me entirely after the last message, not sure which. Edit - I was told that the Plug.Dj is not run by the server, anything done/said in the Plug.Dj means nothing anymore since it's player owned. I apologize for the misunderstanding on my part.
