so i got the idea from the "lets be mean" (fun thing, go check it out) and i tought that maybe i should make a game similiar to it, but not so depressing as it is. then i did remember the "make someone smile" thread, and i tought i could mix these two things up. it wouldnt be as depressing as the "lets be mean", but not also as stupidly cheerful as the "make someone smile".


so in this one, you gotta say a good thing and/or habitat the person above you, but also tell a bad side/habitat about the person. these gotta be real, so dont just make up things. i know this might become a little hard and even a little depressing since all the stuff is supposed to be true, but this way we can make our good habitats stronger and weaken our bad ones. i would say about someone, but i technically am on the top.

I have had to write this appeal again due to an "attitude" that apparently was present despite my best efforts to be polite to an admin on a minecraft server.

Why should you be unbanned: Well i'm not allowed to justify my actions cause reasons (told not too), so i have to be apologize (they said too) so i am very sorry. this is my first ban and i realise the error of my ways. i should have posted on the forums rather than revenge griefing. i also promise that it will never happen again

Why do you want to come back: Cause i have a bunch of cool shit on that server and i don't want it to go to waste cause i blew a hole in somebodies boat. also most of my friends are on there at the moment and i wanna play with them

I would like to start by saying that I am truly sorry for the trouble I have caused on this server over the years, and that I am in no way disputing the validity of the ban. Over the course of the week I was active in March (when I was banned, twice) I had recently learned about my parent's divorce at my boarding academy. I am in no way trying to receive sympathy, however I am trying to allow you to understand why I was acting like a complete idiot on a server I have worked so hard on and love so much. I wasn't thinking straight, and was not dealing with my issues in a healthy way- this translated into every aspect of my life as well as this server. I do believe that my actions were inexcusable, and that my ban was (obviously) justified. I tried to wait sometime before appealing for the ban because I knew that wounds take time to heal, and I certainly hurt some people on the server. I understand that my actions were inexcusable and I am in no way in a position to appeal my ban; however, hometown is one of the only two servers I have been a long term player on, and I have achieved more on this server than I have on any other. The people, the buildings, and the environment I hold at a sentimental value, and I have truly missed the unique atmosphere that hometown has to offer. No other servers I have seen offer this same sense of belonging. The time I have invested in this server is priceless, and the friendships I have made are truly memorable. I started building on this server 3+years ago, and always enjoyed it. I miss my builds, and the people associated with it. I took some time before appealing to make sure I was ready to be in an environment like this where my toxicity can spoil it- after all, a server like this is incredibly difficult to find these days. I am in no way entitled or think I deserve to be unbanned, but I am asking with a hopeful heart that you might consider my request, and give me a second chance. Thank you.

I was banned for griefing but... I never griefed anyone. I don't understand why I got banned, I'm not a griefer. If i could get unbanned that would be cool. Thanks

My cousin has joined the server and my village. He has griefed the farm in the village, killed so many animals, and I think he griefed the stairway in the end.  I just need him off the server. ASAP! he has broken so many other rules too. To be more spacific: He killed all but one of the village sheep, he broke all the potatoes without replanting, he has build outside of his plot, and I'm 99.9% sure he stole end rods from the staircase in the end.

I'm Paul and i used one tnt to blow a hole in the side of IBeDuckLord's giant eyesore of a boat. Why, you ask? He constantly kept hopping in my boats and driving them to the other side of a massive island so i had to fetch them due to no mods giving a shit. Yes, it was revenge. I don't know if i revenge is against the rules but i was getting sick of it. That is pretty much it, unless anyone has any questions?

If it takes a short essay on the topic in order to regain my privilege, so be it:

X-Raying/cheating is bad by its nature for more than a single reason. not only does it take away another player's ability to accomplish more as a player on a server, but it gives the user an unfair boost above all others. X-Raying can rarely ever be validly defended due to its complete hostility to a server as a whole. If a server is one constant map for a prolonged period of time it can do things such as reveal houses and secret bases on faction/pvp/grief servers and provide an unfair advantage over other players on servers with more strict rules; such as this server's anti grief. I myself am more of a faction/pvp server kind of guy but i respect all rules and hate being on the other end of such situations, hence why i am spending my time writing an essay right now. Not to necessarily make it back on the server as i have my own server i could play on, but mainly to apologize to those of whom i created a disadvantage for. On top of the fact that X-Ray is malicious in itself, it also creates a bad environment around the server. For example if one player witnesses another use X-Ray, he or she will join along in harming the economy of the server. This domino effect altogether take maybe a week to ruin a server completely. As to why i have an X-ray pack in the first place, it is not at all to damage anyone else's experience, but for a couple of more valid reasons. As previously mentioned, i have recently opened up my own server for private play between a couple of my close friends and i. It is of an earlier version and has a couple random mods to try out on it. Anyway, with the creation of a modded world, as fellow admins/owners probably know, comes those random obnoxious world holes that generate 30-40 blocks underground of which lead to an unfair death in the void of minecraft. I have the Xray pack in order to find those holes and fill/regenerate chunks in their areas. No one wants to get really far into a game with a bunch of cool modded items and then lose them all to an annoying trip to the void. am i right? 
However, that it of no one else's concern, i just added it in order to show that i dont have the pack for any harmful reason. I would write and explain about how i learned from the situation but on that topic there is not much but the fact that i will not reactivate the pack again whilst on any server but my own, regardless of the motivation behind it. I think if you dont play legitimately its just overall a dirtbag-like thing to do. I know thats not exactly proper wording but i believe it is an effective term for a player who cannot play a game fairly. I completely understand the consequence and accept anything , i just really like the place i found for mine and MayBe70's house to be. Anything else, i accept for to be revoked, even if it wasnt illegitimately obtained. 
No one really likes modders or cheaters in any game. I used to be a big CoD player and i, just as nearly everyone else, have said some pretty vulgar things about such cheaters. Its a completely understandable thing to do. Its things like that that can ruin an entire game for someone, or even a large group of people (Example: MW2. astonishing game. ruined by hackers). The last thing i would ever desire is to be in the same category as those annoying hackers/modders/cheaters. Never would i ever stoop to their level purposely and i feel disgusting for doing such a thing, even if on such a small scale. I apologize to all of whom were effected and hope y'all can continue to play happily on this server as you have so far, whether i am able to join you or not. y por los chicos y chicas de quein hablan espanol solo, lo siento mucho por mis acciones. 
(i actually wrote this on a word document with correct indent format and such but due to the minimal quick reply functions it didn't come out as anything but one giant paragraph. I hope that doesn't effect its validity).

Why should you be unbanned: I would love to be unbanned because i am so sorry that i didn't know that it was a private chest because it was open and it was on the lot yet it was unlocked i am sorry all i took was 15 pieces of cobblestone not knowing it was her private chest i have never caused any other problems on the server and i also donated i think 10 dollars last here to get me to VIP1.
Why do you want to come back: I would love to come back because i loved my time there and i met so many amazing people there and i loved it and i thought that it was the best server i had ever been on because i love survival servers and you don't normally find amazing servers like that!

Why should you be unbanned: I completely admit to breaking the beacon and I am sorry for it. I promise to never break other people's things without permission from them first. I really enjoyed my time on the server and I strongly regret my actions.

Why do you want to come back: I've been actively building a community of players that I would really like to keep in touch with and continue building with. I want to keep building my community with my friends. I also enjoy chatting with other players and meeting new people and would love to be invited back to play.
