Hello, denizens of HomeTown.

It has come to the attention to members of the staff-team that some of our well-established players have been giving undue scorn to newly arrived [Guest]s.  This is even more evident within members of the higher-ranked and [VIP] pools.  This behavior will not be tolerated.  Everyone is protected or punished under rule #1: be respectful to others at all times.  HomeTown is a welcoming community to all.  If someone fails to follow our rules, they will be dealt with after the crime--not sooner, without reason, or at face-value.  Everyone here started out as a [Guest], and a lot that remained stayed because they felt welcomed.  It's disgraceful to be in a higher position and look down on others like this.  It's one thing to be cautious of new-arrivals but it's another to be jerk because of it.  Even if a new arrival griefs your property, so what?  It will be fixed and the offender/s punished.  The staff-team will see to that.  If anything, being rude to another player simply because they're new is a disservice to all.  That person could be a new friend of yours, an amazing builder, or a future supporter of our server; and they're being put down for being new.  We've had issues at all ranks that require a ban, even among all levels of [VIP] and members of the past staff-teams.  Just because you're a higher rank does not mean you're immune to rule-breaking or being banned.

Remember the golden rule, folks: if you have nothing nice to say, don't say it.  We'll be cracking down on this behavior.  Thanks for reading.

   Jailed for breaking blocks withing 100 meters of structure first, assumed it was the one I broke to get out being stuck at /warp dirtshop. Resumed digging dirt for a build I was planning. Next thing I know I'm banned for ignoring mods.

   I did make a mistake by breaking blocks at /warp dirtshop (I am sorry) but I was not aware I was near a structure after I was jailed. I /rtp'd to avoid making the surroundings of my build look unnatural after digging for dirt. I have come quite a long way in this server and I vote a lot so I should be unbanned. I was unaware I was breaking rules.

Why should you be unbanned Why do you want to come back: I just started playing again, so i don't know a lot about the new stuff, and this was the first server i started playing on since i came back. It's been a lot og fun and a lot of great people. I know what i did was not okay, but i just died on the server with a lot of my stuff on me so, i saw the diamonds block and thought i could take it (its no excuse) But if i get unbanned im gonna give back all the diamonds i took

Why should you be unbanned: The build was just a joke. Looking back I definitely shouldn't have done it in the first place. But since it has been done it wont happen again. 

Why do you want to come back: I've worked really hard to make progress with my town on the server and I would hate for it to be ruined by a stupid mistake. Hometown is by far the best survival server I have been on and I have been playing minecraft for seven or eight years. Hometown had a great community and i would love to be a part of it again.

Mod rules should be modified because apparently if we joke around with them then we get banned for being disrespectful. If you aren't vip you clearly get treated differently than being a guest, because there were people in the server taking about Llama Sex who were vip and they did not get a warning nor ban for it. This boggles my mind because my friend and I get banned for joking with each other, however, my other friend doesn't get banned at all and did the same thing. The jokes were taken way to serious by these mods or whoever for literally 4 of them to ban us both for saying "we irritating lol".

Unban me and KoryKorn please, because if Vips cant get banned for talking about inappropriate things in the chat, then we can joke around in the server about PG things as well. There was clearly a miscommunication, and this shouldn't happen anymore.

Hi guys, SpanishInquisition here, bringing you a once in a life time opportunity: Have you ever wanted to shell the living shit out of a perfectly built town? Want to show off your fancy TNT cannon or bomber plane in HT? Well now you can, with this Bomb-a-town event!

This event is taking place in a small desert town in resource world, where TNT is allowed. It was a village that I grew and bred, starting off with 5 villagers, now it has a natural iron golem. Name of town is not decided yet, so if someone can suggest something cool it would be nice.
