Why should you be unbanned: I have a goal to make a big panda army. i cant continue anymore i should be unbanned because i have some friends there i cant meet anymore i dont think this is a good appeal but im trying.

Why do you want to come back:  I dont know why i am banned it may be that i destroyed some crops at building thing i got a warn. and i wanna come back  because i miss the server its been months.

Hello! My user name is Nesterlace  and i was banned for taking sand from the desert that the "sand castle" is in. I made sure to walk away from any claimed blocks from the "sand castle" but i also have to admit that i got stuck/lost in the snad castle itself but. i will not go near that building/owner ever again.

/lay doesn’t work for some reason

Recently we've started to see some increasingly...  interesting... requests for staff assistance. These range from a report of "grief" from a build owner who had forgotten to finish off their build to being asked to repair tools that were low on durability.

Staff are here to help but somewhere there's a line between helping you with server-related issues and being your personal in-game assistant. If you're not sure when to ask for help, here's some guidelines to help you out:

Claims

You are responsible for making sure that there are no claims in an area before building. When finding a spot to build, remember that you can hold a stick in your hand and right click it to show up claims. With a few friends, you will be able to quickly cover the surrounding area within 100 blocks to find any builds or claims. Please remember that while staff are often happy to help, it isn't actually our job to check for claims for you and a lot of the time there are plenty of players online who would be willing to help you out without staff needing to be called in.


Searching for items / shulkers

If you can't find an item, don't worry! Take a look around your base and check for misplaced shulker boxes or chests that you may have left your item in. Remember to check your enderchest and (if it's a wearable item) make sure you haven't accidentally shift clicked it onto your body. If you've had a look around and still can't find it, staff are happy to help you find out what happened to it.

When you lose an item, please don't immediately panic and call staff in. Sometimes we are doing other things and have to come on specifically to help you, so it's nice to see that you've put the effort into finding it first so that we don't come on only to find it in an obvious place.

Respawning items and teleporting back to death point

This is a survival server, so if you die or lose your items we will not respawn them for you. The same goes for teleporting you back to where you died, since /back is a VIP perk and it invalidates the perk if we just teleport everyone back anyway.

Please note that if you die or lose your items due to a server problem we will happily return your items to you and fix the problem. This might happen due to lag, a plugin malfunction, or inventory issues. If you use minechat or another mobile chat app, make sure you teleport to somewhere safe! I lost my infinimend bow last year because I had died while on minechat and I never got it back.

Build help and feedback


It's great to see what you guys are building but please remember that they are your builds, not ours. You are welcome to ask anyone to give feedback or help you with part of a build, but please don't think that it's staff's job to help you with your building.


Gameplay-related questions

If you need help with something to do with gameplay, there are a few options available to you. There are tutorials on youtube on how to make farms for pretty much anything in minecraft as well as tutorials on how to use things like beacons, conduits, minecart hoppers, and much more. There is lots of information at /warp FAQ for you to look at too. If you can't find what you're looking for or struggle to understand something, feel free to ask questions in game! Most (if not all) of the people online will have played minecraft before and many people will know how to help you with your question.

These kinds of questions can be answered by any player (not just staff), so please don't post in #get-help for this kind of stuff. While it's true that many staff are very familiar with the game, it's not our responsibility to teach you how to play minecraft and it's frustrating to be called over for assistance only to be asked a question that most other players would be able to answer for you.


Another Note

Several players seem to have falllen into the habit of just saying "staff" in chat and then not explaining what they want until smoeone responds. If you say your issue first, chances are that an experienced player will be able to give you an immediate answer. Failing that, staff will be able to teleport to you already knowing what the issue is. If your first instinct whenever you have a problem is just to say "staff", and staff members keep teleporting to you only to be asked trivial questions such as "who broke this block" or "why can't I open this chest" it gets frustrating. [Expert] rank players are able to use /co i to look at logs, and anyone can do /cinfo to see who owns a chest. If you say your problem first, sometimes staff will be able to help you out immediately without having to stop whatever they're doing to teleport to you and look around.

This thread is a new thread for the current server for players to be able to apply to reclaim warps which have been abandoned from inactive players. Before reclaiming a warp you must follow these rules and do the following:

1) The owner of the warp must be inactive for 9 months or more. If they are banned, they must be banned for over 6 months or permanently banned. If the warp has more than one owner, then all owners must be inactive or banned (as mentioned above) If the player can not be determined from the warp with the use if /seen and /co i from staff a broadcast will go out to the server to see if anyone knows the rightful owner. From that we will decide if the warp will still be up for reclaiming or not. 

2) Warps are only up to be reclaimed if they are in use for shops, farms or any other type of service. Warps that take you to towns, builds like statues or homes will not be able to be reclaimed or unless the warp is for public server use. 

3) When reclaiming you will have to pay the same price as a current warp. ($1500 for Member+ and $1000 for VIPs). 

4) To apply to reclaim a warp, you must only apply on this thread. Reclaiming warps work on a first come first serve basis. This means that applying on a different thread or asking staff online will not mean you have the permission for the warp. The only time you should be contacting staff in game about reclaiming a warp (unless you have any questions), is when you have been given permission here on the thread to claim the warp and would like to move it to its new home. 

5) If a player returns after their warp has been reclaimed, they will be allowed to set a warp free of charge. 

6) All reclaimed warps will be listed below. You will need to follow the format when applying for a warp to be reclaimed. 

Example:
IGN: TheOnlyKat (your IGN)
Warp Name: /Warp Dye (the warp you want)
Inactivity time of old owner: 10 months
Old owners IGN: Startgirl (the original owners IGN)

Heya, so I'm totally new to Hometown.

I've asked around about the Elytra being so insanely rare (and expensive to buy)  and The End never being reset and have gotten these two answers (or variations of)

1) Elytra is  really an end game thing so it should be scarce
2) People have built in The End so therefor, it never gets reset. (which of course makes Elytra scarce).


I'm gonna break my thinking down on these two

1) Really? The only reason it is 'end game' is because you can't get to End Cities until the dragon has been killed. 
----Every multi player server I've checked out (and its in the 30's of those)  The dragon is dead and there are portals everywhere.  So, that reason makes no sense.

2) People having built in the End:  Ok fine, there are builds in the End.  If it was just Enderman Farms, I'd be like, "so? They are easy to build"  But, people have built other stuff so.. I get not resetting it for that reason.


I've talked to people that said there are no Elytra left in The End.. period and from 30 mins of exploring with /fly ,I believe it. There are pathways to every island it seems.


There is a Resource world for the Overworld AND the Nether.  But, not the End.

I ask Why?

There doesn't seem like any reason on the surface for there not to be.  The only two really useful resources in the End are:


A) Elytra
B) Skulkers

-- both of which are none existent in the End now because they have all be raided.


So, again why?

Digging below the surface, the ONLY reason I can think of there not being an End Resource world that gets reset is to get people to Buy /fly for $30 IRL (or a lot of in game $$ which can be hard to come by. Lets face it, shops don't make a lot of $$ because there are so many)) or vote over and over and over again to try to get both from slots.


I don't know if that is the real reason behind not having an End Resource world, but it totally looks like it to anyone that stops to think about it.

Elytra and Shulkers are IN GAME resources.  Voting should NOT basically be a REQUIREMENT to get them.  (or having $7k+ to get Elytra and be able to fly without paying $30 irl to /fly)

I totally understand having to vote to get more /homes, see /warplist etc but again, there should be a way to get ALL in game resources by PLAYING Minecraft, not paying for them somehow with IRL actions like voting or paying IRL $.

Fuck, I even get having to pay IRL $ to get /back  (btw, that should also able to be obtained by voting).  I get having to pay to get /fly  (that would be cool if you could get with voting also)

But,  having to vote to get Elytra is just shitty and shaddy.

There NEEDS to be a End resource world that gets reset often, even if it's only every 3-6 months or whatever.

Hi! I just wanted to say a few things about myself. I'm DarkeningLight28, but if you ever want to talk, just Dark is fine. I just joined the server the other day and I love it so far. Several months ago (or maybe more like a year ago), I had been on a similar server and was active for around a year. I was also a low-level staff member there for about 9 months. I decided to find a different server after having realized that I recognized none of the newer players, and I didn't feel like I fit there anymore. I'm hoping that this server can fill the void and then some more!

Just a few quick details about myself - I love penguins and the color purple, I like drawing (digitally) and baking whenever possible, and I have recently learned to crochet. And of course, I love video games.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!

I just think it will be better if there were more perks for vip mostly vip2 just because I’ve had my vip for a while but it’s just boring with only /glow and /fly And rename just it’s bit plain we need  more perks for vip!
