 apreciate all the people that are nice and helpful

Heyo, denizens of HomeTown.  This will be a re-make of a thread from our old forums before they were purged by hackers.

I got into two separate conversations about martial arts on the server recently, so I wanted to see who all has a martial arts background or combative training.  Basically, if you can fight–please–tell us about it.  Be thorough, too.  This includes empty-handed or armed training.  Even if you haven't done any kind of training yet but you have the desire to start, talk about why it interests you.  Also–of course–keep it civil and free from politics, please.

Martial Arts:
I took Tae Kwon Do as a child, which is a Korean martial art focused on kicks.  I got to a green belt before my instructors had to move shop.  I still recall some of it, not much.

I picked up fencing in my preteens for a year, then I picked it back up in college a two-year period.  I even helped re-found the fencing club and became the president of it for a brief time.  It got dissolved due to a lacking interest and its members graduating.

I have been studying Judo since autumn 2014.  Judo is a Japanese martial art focused on grappling.  To sum it up in one sentence: you throw people to the ground, hold them there, and break their joints or choke them out; strikes are prohibited.  I help teach the class now as an assistant to my instructor, which means I'm the designated ragdoll to be demonstrated on.

Formal Combative Training:
I participated in the Krav Maga community for a 6-month period to learn strikes back in 2015.  It's pretty much just mixed martial arts without the rules with roots from Israel.  I figured it would be useful to know strikes in conjunction with Judo if I had to fight someone.

Informal Combative Training:
I've learned to shoot pistols, shotguns, and rifles since I was 12.  I did learn to use bows as a kid but I'm not good with them.  I would like to take a few shooting classes, such as long-range marksmanship or force-on-force training for shits and giggles.

Future Interests:
I would not mind picking up Kali, which is both an unarmed and armed Filipino martial art.  My dad is an immigrant from the Philippines, so it would be cool to learn to fight with knives, batons, and improvised weapons.

We Have All been there, We get In trouble and ban hammer is down. So Today im going to Try to explain and help people not to get banned, Yes there is the rules which everyone reads, for the most part, And so sometimes its easy to bend them, SO Here is the list

Aquas Life Tips to not get banned by A Person of staffyness....Makes sense.

1) watch chat and what you say, dont go and be like F#%! Y&* To someone, or if they are pissing you off, dont be like that, ignore it, but Just dont ignore everything because if someone is saying your doing the wrong thing listen and try to focus on chat, Totally when your playing the easter egg hunt.....https://hometownmc.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=2296...I may be a bad example but i learned from my mistakes and try to be active in the chat most you can and it as much as you can, But don't be annyoing. Watch what conversation you get in, if you see its getting bad or rude, and staff says stop, you stop because its a warning, and you will get kicked for spamming and banned for advertising other servers.

2) Don't Greif....Simple as that because we all know what happens, All bubble babies will be beaten senselessly by every able body patr......oops...., its annoying when someone greif's you, simple as that

3) Im Not 100% sure on this but its an annoyance but if you have a donation chest, always clear it or connect a hopper so it goes somewhere else so nobody steals it

4) Don't X-Ray of hack/glitch in items cause it make it harder to find items and not fun if you hack them in, it really won't be fun when your banned for it.


Staff Will Always Warn You To stop if its pretty minor, like being annoying or stealing, X-raying to advertising you will not be warned. Just Realise that staff put up with Your Shit ( Ooops i already broke my own rule ;P ) But Seriously They do And hats Off To Them.

That's My List and tips to not, If You Have Any other ideas comment it below ( Sounds like im a youtuber asking for likes ;P ) I want to hear your ways to not get banned or in trouble in Hometown.

Alright so I have this man made forest I made and due to too much grief there I protected it but then figured out there is a public mine underneath. So I was wondering if there is a way to make the protection only above land but remove the protection underground?

Why should you be unbanned: 

I believe I should be unbanned because I'm very sorry for the damage I have done to this server. I griefed over 100 Iron blocks from someone elses beacon as a very greedy move just so i could have my own. I also disrespected players by taking badly about them in MSG. I can remove my beacon and replace the iron blocks if need so, and also I have taken a pledge to become more respectful of the community of the server I love. My brother told me about the beacon and he told me to mine the iron blocks so we could have a beacon of our own. I'm very sorry and will not do this again. I understand how much work that other player had to put it to achieve his own beacon and that i shouldn't ever take away that from another player. 

Why do you want to come back:  

I want to come back because I absolutely love this server and the vibes of a simple SMP server it gives. Currently I have amassed a lot of friends and money, xD and I would love to come back on and share this great experience of Hometown with the community. Its truly a blessing this server even exists, I need to be able to appreciate that more. Currently, GhostBuster is building me a mansion and I want to get on and see the progress and be able to pay him the price of what he offered. So, to conclude, I would love to come back on because of the great progress I've made on the server and the divine appreciate I now have for this server when I'm in the perspective of not being able to log-on as typical. 

Hello there. I would like to tell you about the Road Building Society (RBS)

I. Creation of the RBS

Long time ago After the reset, Halberdson start three roads from the spawn point:

• Western spawn road
  
• Northern spawn road
  
• Eastern spawn road
  

1. respect the server rules ;
   
2. respect the schematics ;
   
3. ask others if you can built near their houses, respect there choice even if they are not OK ;
   
4. road builders abandon their 100 blocks right around the road, except three blocks above it and in front of an unfinished one ;
   
5. be creative for the bridges and tunnels.
   

• first, abandoning the 100 blocks right gives auto permission to other to build near the road (as long as there is not somebody else already) ;
  
• second, the exception of the three block above the road is so horse riders can still use the road and that no one build a stair on the road taking more than half the road (yes, it happen) while permitting to build above the road ;
  
• third, the exception to the front of the unfinished one is so no one build just in front of a work in progress (yes, it also happen, two times).
  

1. The Circle road around the spawn point ;
   
2. From the Spawn point, the main hub:
   
   1. The Western spawn road starting west of the spawn point, finished near a cove ;
      • The Verte prairie road a wood fork passing through my farm ;
        
      • The Northwestern traverse road a fork giving access to :
        • The Candy garden road, a road passing near the candy garden giving access to:
          • The Canyon road, a road passing through a canyon that Shisuan is currently building ;
            
          • The Azurean road, a road passing above the ocean on a multiple arched wood bridge.
            
        • The Pumpkin road, a road passing in front of the Pumpkin nightclub ;
          
      • an unnammed fork near Circle road which nearly complete on it near Northern spawn road, doesn't respect the pattern ;
        
   2. The Eastern spawn road starting east of the spawn point, stopped near a desert ;
      • The Southeastern traverse road, joining the Eastern spawn road and the Northwestern well road
        
   3. The Northern spawn road starting north of the spawn point, still in progress above the jungle ;
      
3. From the Well, a secondary hub:
   
   1. The Eastern well road ;
      
   2. The Southern well road ;
      
   3. The Northwestern well road.

Why should you be unbanned: 
I am sorry for offending or breaking any rules but i just want to say that i wasnt x raying. it's true, i have it on my forge but i was not using it at the time. I promise that i was just strip mining and not using x ray. X ray is an unfair tool and it completely ruins the game.  Grimm wolf banned me. X ray doesn't get you much, there's no pvp so what's the point. you can't necessarily get an advantage with it. But anyway, me and my friends find great joy in this server and we've been playing for a long time without trouble and are just now getting in trouble for something i didn't i do.
Why do you want to come back: 

i've been using this tactic for a while, and it's not fair to just blocking someone without hearing what they have to say. Again i am sorry for breaking/ offending any rules, and i just want to say that i wasn't. Thank you for your time and all the fun on your server.

Im still banned but I miss you guys so I just wanted to ask whats new and how are all of you doing in your lives? any new Projects?

I logged in recently and just died. I don't know where i was exactly but i had apparently suffocated in a wall. is there any way to roll back my inventory? I lost everything i have please. If theres anything i could get back its my bow its impossible to get another one.
