Tell us about your mishaps!

Today I walked up to a glass door in school, saw a teacher on the other side, and tried to open the door for them. Then I realised it was a push door and it's quite thin, so the teacher hurriedly says "thanks" and scoots through while I lean through the doorway with my arm across the door to hold it open. I shout "you too" over my shoulder as I go through the door.

Hello! My ign is whackamole, and my name is Benjamin! I am 13 years old from Pennsylvania, and I have been playing this server for 4 or 5 days now. 

I like this server because it is fun to build up as you play, and the vanilla minecraft mixed with shops really is awesome! The fact that it is also grief proof is awesome. I played on 2b2t before, and it just wasn't fun because of all the griefing and hacks. But this server is perfect in every way!

I was banned for griefing and stealing.

I was banned by LilDevilian.

I think I should be unbanned because I'm truely sorry for what I have done and I really enjoy playing on this server and all my friends are on here. I found this server because I was looking for a good Vanilla minecraft server and this was the best.

I think I should come back because all my friends are here and I am really kind to the community of the hometown. Also I really love the server overall like the mods. admins. and Owner ofc. I now know that Griefing is bad for the server and I should never do it again. Griefing just ruins the point of building and ruins other people's experience.

Why should you be unbanned: I made the wrong choice of using X-Ray texture pack thinking I could get away with it and I take full responsibility for my actions. I Will permanently delete the texture pack from my computer as soon as I am finished writing this. I spent my night last night making a base and enjoying myself and didn't have too much time before I had to go, I made the stupid choice of getting an x-ray texture pack just to speed up the process of my base, I shake my head every time I read or say that I'm truly angry at myself for this. Now I get it if you don't think I should be unbanned, I have done my wrongs But I will do everything and anything I can to try and make the amazing Minecraft community on Hometownmc, even better than it already is. I will play completely legit from now on, I really regret this decision of mine I never realized why x-raying was so wrong . You can take the diamonds I x-rayed for and even bring my balance down too 0, I am sincerely sorry for what I have done. I really enjoyed the server and how friendly everyone was and I just want to be back in the community that I enjoyed oh so much :) 

Why do you want to come back: To join back into the awesome community of Hometownmc, and to try and help newcomers with getting ready if need be. I want to rejoin and work on my base and play it all legitimately like I was supposed to do in the first place, and build my base with diamonds I got the way I was supposed too, by mining them with no texture pack or mods, or by buying them. I Want to join back to be known as the fun guy that talks to everyone, not the xrayer that stole diamonds from the earth by cheating...

Why should you be unbanned: I will dedicate my time to reverting the damages that I caused to each build. I will not seek the help of others, since they are not responsible for my actions. I will also return the valuables that I stole, such as seeds, sugar cane, diamonds, gold, etc. What I cannot give back immediately I will work to regain for the people I griefed.

Why do you want to come back: I want the chance to restore the buildings I destroyed to their original state. Not only that, but I want to be able to experience the server how it was intended to be played: building houses and making friends, not the opposite. Does that mean I want people to like me? No. My actions today were not right at all. I went as far as to frame someone else at my first griefing site in order to escape blame, then made a game out of it. That was not something I should be excused of. However, what I want to do most is repair the houses I have griefed. If I am unbanned, then players can decide whether they want to forgive me for my griefing.

My pc just died ( I'm on my phone now) and I'm not sure when it'll be repaired or even if it can be repaired thus I'm not sure when I'll be able to come back on the server. So goodbye everyone, I'm gonna miss you

Why should you be unbanned: This was the first server I played on when I started playing Minecraft. I made a dumb decision as a new player that I would not make now. I now understand how x-raying hurts the game for all the people who play legitimately. If I am unbanned from this server I know that I will only work to repair the damage I caused before. 

Why do you want to come back: I want to come back because this is the best server. This server has the best market place which I was detrimental to my first time around. If I am allowed back in this server you can know that I will be beneficial to your outstanding Minecraft community.

Why is x-raying wrong?

X-raying is wrong because it undermines the entire market in multiplayer Minecraft. It is an unfair advantage that is used to cheat and get ahead of others. Nobody is any better that anybody else. It's wrong to take what others worked hard for.

How does x-raying affect other players?

Other players spent hours working to get what I stole in just a few minutes when I accepted diamonds from my friend. This ruins a large part of the game for everybody on the server.

How does x-raying affect the server's economy?

X-raying causes inflation. It decreases the value of currency. It is like printing off money. Peoples hard work is not worth as much because I thought I could just cheat my way ahead of them. It is not fair.

What have you learned from this ban?

I learned how my actions can hurt others. I had no idea the problems that x-raying can cause in a Minecraft community. It made me think about the fact that others care about their work in this game just as much as I do. I learned that x-raying makes a huge impact on the hard work of other players which is not fair.
