Hiya So basically i glitched out of /warp moop by sitting on the stairs surrounding the walls and the design intrigued me and got me wondering so i flew around in /d and made my way to the top of the farm where the baited pigmen flow around. The server reset and i became stuck in one of the glass blocks and it broke the water stream so i tried my best to fix it with some signs and it looked like it was working again but to place the signs to fix the water stream i had to kill the Pigmen which i later found out were the only ones in the chamber so i broke the /warp moop it was a stupid mistake which i tried to rectify but i understand i was a doofus so i'm willing to own up and take the punishment however im sorry And please don't be too harsh :3

It's been a pretty long time since I've played minecraft to any capacity let alone playing with others who obviously know what they're doing haha. There are new stuff in the game that I'm just not used to quite yet. I thought I'd join some other people anyway. I don't think I'm great when it comes to building but I can make okay stuff? Also, if I'm quiet then I apologize. It can take me a little bit of time to be comfortable with talking.

Anyway, I'm excited to be here and have fun.

My name is Ron. I am Jeff's father.
I am posting this to you because I know how much Jeff loved your server and how he considered most of you to be his friends. We sat together many nights as he played and had fun on your server. Some evenings he drove us all crazy talking about his plans and who he wanted to see that night.
June 23 he was hit by a drunk driver on his way to a friends for the night after the movies. He was thrown into a light standard and suffered severe internal injuries as well as head trauma. He is alive, but has not yet returned to us.
I am telling you this because he cared for you all, and because of that, I think it is important to share, and if we can in anyway prevent this from happening to anyone else, that would be important to him. Please, do not get behind the wheel if you have been drinking. Stop your friends if you can. Make this be heard.
We ask, myself, his mother Tianna, and his sister Tamara, that if you could, please add him to your prayers. We all miss him more than can ever be described. I hope that we can soon again have him talking nonstop at the dinner table about his hometown friends.

Reason for your ban: Using X-ray to find diamonds

Who banned you: Star

Why should you be unbanned: Because I'm one year older and my purpose on the server is to have fun and not cheat anymore.

Why do you want to come back: Because I remember how homey the server was and I really enjoyed playing on it!

So around 6 months ago in January I was false banned for xraying. I appealed and eventually got unbanned, and I was told that to compensate for the time delay and misjudgment that I would be bumped up to VIP2. I got the rank on the server, but after being inactive for a few months I log back on and see that my VIP2 rank was removed for some reason. Can someone tell me if there was a specific reason for this and whether I can get it back? Thanks!

Why should you be unbanned: I am unaware of any griefing I did, and any that I may have done is surely an accident. I'm willing to repair whatever it is I've broken, and will do my best to ensure it doesn't happen again.

Why do you want to come back: I've played on hometown for just over a year now, and was introduced by a few friends that I spend time with regularly. I don't want to lose the progress that I've made, and the friends I've made in Greinaut, Rayz, and other regulars and staff of the server.

Why should you be unbanned: I realize I broke the rules by griefing and taking items that were not mines. I should not have touched anything that was not mine. Instead, I need to put the work into creating my own items as other players do with much time and effort. I compromised the integrity and reputation of the players and server by my actions and I greatly apologize for this. The server is full of great players, helpful staff, and I spoiled and ruined it for myself and others.

Why do you want to come back: I have friends whom I play with on this server and want to make up for my grievous behavior.

Reason for your ban: X-Ray / Mining for Diamonds in another persons mine

Who banned you: [admin] DeadCore and [mod/guardian] UberDeathBunny

Why should you be unbanned: I have no idea why I should be unbanned for X-Ray, I will take full responsibility for this breach of trust and sportsmanship. In the face of the evidence presented by both the Administrator and Moderator who investigated my mineshaft, It is undeniable that I have used X-ray. I see no reason for my acceptance back into the server and hope that the server staff will be able to forgive me for this action, it was both unfair to other players and staff who I have cultivated friendship with. I therefore cannot offer a valid reason why I should be unbanned. I will regardless of ban appeal remove my X-Ray program from my minecraft game.

Why do you want to come back: I really enjoy this server and I sincerely hope that I will be able to rejoin the server, I earnestly regret this breach of trust I have done and will work to make amends in any way seen fit. this includes a permanent ban. I want to make it clear that I am genuinely regretful in my actions (albeit this is difficult to do in a ban appeal or through a forum post.) Until then  I will wait my judgment and hope to be forgiven otherwise I will live with this choice I had made and regret it.

BTW: there is anything I can do to rebuild trust or other actions I can take to reach penance for this crime I am open to suggestions/commands

I feel like adding a vote reminder and or a timer that tells you when you can vote again would be very helpful. I tend to forget to vote or try voting when its only been like 20 hours. i feel like the server would get more votes if a messaged popped up or being able to do a command that tells you a timer.

Why should you be unbanned: I apologize for using X-Ray while mining. I was just curious about the perspective of an X-ray miner and just wanted to mess around somewhere. It was very immature and stupid of me to cheat in a server, instead of doing it on singleplayer on my own, and not to suppress the temptation to exploit my curiosity to mine excessive amount of diamonds. After this ban, I've learned and experienced the perspective of a cheater, and I learned my lesson. Honestly, it was fun, but it's not that fun to imagine the ruined server economy, gameplay to others and, just be banned after a few hours. I am truly sorry for my actions and all the frustration I have given to my friends and the staff

I am sorry for spamming cobblestone in pantrusty house and I promise not to do it again even though I did clean it up. I also apologise if you felt like I was being a troll. I want to come back and play.. 

Why do you want to come back: I really liked the server and it seemed really cool. I want to enjoy my experiences in Hometown again when I return. I don't care about my budget or anything; I just came, and want to come back to just chat with my friends and have fun. I will turn in the remaining diamonds that I have stored, and happily discard all my balance as the server regulations.

-Why is xraying bad?
It is very effective to gain a destructive advantage over other players in mining, it also ruins the server economy easily with a single x-ray mining trip (which I had)


-How does xraying affect the servers economy?
The said trip above yielded me over 2 stacks of diamonds in a matter of minutes, which usually took me over 8 hours to collect. My experiences convey that via collecting an excessive amount of diamonds (aka money) can swiftly stack up and give an unfair advantage to other players.


-How does xraying affect the other players of the server? 
It doesn't seem to directly affect other players, but it will heavily affect other players in terms of economy, and possible competitions players might have.

-What have you learned from this ban? 
I've learned that Cheating is not the best thing to experience in a server, and experiencing a cheater's point of view made me think that I deserved to be banned. Even if it's just to experiment or just to mess around, cheating is never a wise decision to make. There are better things for me to do than cheating, and it made me think twice before making decisions. None of this will ever happen again from me, I will promise I will become a fair-playing person.
