Reason for your ban: Banned for beacon and conduit theft
Who banned you: Steasaur


Why should you be unbanned: Although I was unaware that taking a beacon off of unclaimed land was illegal, I will admit that I stole the conduit knowing of the consequences. When I read the sign, I thought it was a bluff trying to keep people from taking it.I figured Steasaur didn't claim enough land to protect the conduit, and therefore had no power over it. I will happily return both stolen items to administrators or Steasaur, and if I happen to steal something again, I will accept a lifetime ban for my behavior.

Why do you want to come back: I had only joined this server a few days ago to play with my brother and his friends. We had spent a lot of time looking for the perfect survival server, and we believe hometown is one of the best. After the couple days spent here, we have had a lot of fun, and I would really like it if I got a second chance to play on your server.

So we have a problem we cannot add movies to genrage so I am coming with a idea of an advertising channel so that way others want to get mad at you and if they don't like something they won't actually comment on what you say about it because even though you're trying to share a at least you won't get in trouble because it's their opinions on it and not you and it's not your fault either so I think we need to change something on Hometown and add a new channel for advertising room I believe we can change something if we change the hometown I think we need to changeI believe we  like advertising sharing and other things cuz it doesn't look like things are working out on home town so what I'm thinking is we need to change all that stuff as well as everything so let's try to see if we can add chai more channels to the hometown page so everyone else has an idea of what it looks like and so others won't get in trouble because there could be a way how we could do this even though that we may need to change some things for the better on Hometown on behalf of me on hometown

Why should you be unbanned: I was really clueless to who placed the beacons and that giant tower. I broke one block to see who built it (I'm used to do that to see the message "you don't have {username} permission to break blocks". I know, you could use a stick but I didn't had one with me and honestly, even if I had one, I was used to "break" blocks to see who built something. 
When I realised no one claimed it, I was way too ecxited and I took three of the beacons, my friend tried to warn me but I didn't saw their messages on discord. I know what I did was wrong and I know, I shouldn't have broke it in the first place. 
I was desperate and so hyped when I realised no one claimed a giant golden tower with redstone ore stairs and a giant beacon tower. I'm honest, I'm not perfect, I'm human and this was way too tempting. I should have known better and I'm sorry. 


Why do you want to come back: I want to come back because the server is one of the best I saw, I don't have many friends on the server since I'm still very new but the one I do have spent so much quality time here. Before I stole the beacons, I had made some real progress on the server with my friends. I really want to come back since we know we won't be able to find a server like this again. I will give back the beacons and even place them back. Again, I'm sorry Uber for breaking your stuff.  

Many people are different in that way we all might not agree on this topic if it's illegal or not you do not have to join if it's bad but we all need to change like adding stuff to hometown like more channels for other things like streaming channels or or advertising channels that advertise movies or shows and you do not have to click on one you can just bye it if you want and that's ok bye me we all have free speech and we can change the world if I was staff I wood make channels for people and what recent to add one if it's good one we can add it all people have is ideas or creation of things and not all people have to agree with me if you find a movies and want to post it do it in the advertising Channel that's why it's there for a reason and why so we do not get into trouble with other people like what happen today on hometown but naw we can change it and work together as a team look fighting its never solves anything on hometown and I call on staff and admins to veto a law into home town this is a new government I am working on it and soon that goverment will open I'll be working on it in the summer time when school's out all of you are welcome to join in if you do not like this then that's ok too and I speak on behalf on hometown and I take opinions on others say about me too

Why should you be unbanned: Honestly, I probably shouldn't - I made a mistake that has potential to ruin economies. It was an hour of stupidity and I'm genuinely very sorry for what I did, and I mean that. I was under the impression after not playing since Minecraft version 1.7 that everyone was hacking, after seeing hundreds of 1x1 holes (I've later learned these are due to a water glitch that allows you to walk through 1x1 holes whilst mining) and so without really thinking downloaded a XRay texture pack and used it on my account, y76, and mined just over 2 stacks of diamonds. Although my time one HomeTown was short lived, the people were really kind and helpful. The server has a great vibe to it without the typical modern features of newer Minecraft servers these days, which I loved. I promise to not do this again and I'd love to have the opportunity to join the server again, and this time play legitimately.

Why do you want to come back: Through the less than a week I've played here, I think I've enjoyed every second of it, spending time with members of the extremely helpful community and trying to do my bit of return up until the mistake I made. I love building however I find Creative building dull, and so this style of game play is ideal for me. I love the vibe the server gets and the friendliness of the community, I promise again to not make this mistake and hope you can forgive me for doing so.

Hi kids it's me! AGAIN!

Damn, two threads in like twenty minutes? Star must be active again! (Lol not yet, chill your jets)

The resource world is scheduled to be reset on March 24. There is no set time, it'll be whenever I have enough time that day. Not gonna lie, I don't think I've reset the resworld in a long ass time, so this could absolutely result in the server crashing (probably), getting wiped (probably not), or be absolutely fine. So how does this all affect you? Here's some important things you should know/do:

1. Remove your beacons and any items you care about. There will be no item respawning for "oh heck bro I forgot I left my diamond filled double chest in the resworld :/" or anything else. As always, I'm sure we will have an exception or two due to inactive players, but do not depend on this.

2. Remove your homes. If you don't, it's probably no big deal, but your /home rainbow might now spawn you over a lava pit. Speaking from experience, I don't recommend that.

3. The server will most likely be whitelisted during and for a while after this is happening. This doesn't mean you were banned, you're not in trouble, the server isn't down, and please don't spam @Staff/@Admin/@Mod/@Guardian on discord losing your mind. There will be staff members online, and we'll be pre-loading the world to minimize lag when y'all folks log in.

4. There will be lag. We know, sorry.

5. I love you. Mostly kidding, but for some people I'm not. Good luck finding out who's who.

Recently (meaning like the last 2? years) there's been a lack of fun on Hometown, so in addition to a few things hidden up my sleeve and in my socks, what kind of suggestions do you have for making HT more enjoyable again? Minigames, server involvement events, forum games, whatcha got?

As many of you know I AM BACK!!!!.. just came back 3-4 days ago.. love the new changes (ender and melanie getting guardian and cat and bel getting elites). 

Amazed to see Vtown grow so much.. Am gonna help make it grow more with Cat. 

Also its time i publicize my farms. i have a concrete farm pumpkin farm, leather farm and a super smelter...

watch out for the warps coming soon for public use....

(i found it completely groofed, when i came back) but thank the ambular it's all fixed

Why should I be unbanned: I was unaware that taking resources from unclaimed land was griefing. I took a beacon outside someone's house because it was unclaimed. I did not realize this would result in consequences, and I am truly apologetic. 
Why I want to come back:  I had just started playing yesterday and was really getting into it. I had gotten money from diamond ore and was really starting to have fun on the server. Taking the beacon was a foolish decision, and I now know that I shouldn't take resources from other properties, claimed or unclaimed.
