Why i should be unbanned: Look, i saw them, i took them. I didn't know that they were somebody's shulker boxes. That was my mistake. Im not saying that i don't deserve my punishment, but i am saying that i acknowledge that what i did was wrong. I still have 2 of them and i can buy the other one back for whoever i took it from. I just want to come back and play normally.

Why i want to come back: I love hometown. I absolutely love the server, and that's why my heart feels heavy when i see that i was banned.

Why should you be unbanned: I should be unbanned because when I got banned I was really stressed from school work and wasn't thinking straight... it does not happen often. I am truly sorry for my actions that night and promise that I will try to never act like that again.

Why do you want to come back: I want to come back because I have made many friends on the server and I really miss them. Now that I have finished the loads of schoolwork that I have had the past couple of weeks I can finally get on minecraft again and I truly miss the family and friends I was making on the server.

Introduction:

I will be hosting an elytra tournament at /warp splat. The tournament will be head to head race for the finish line. Depending on the number of entrants there may be a single or double tournament tree.

The tournament will be held Easter Saturday (20-Apr-2019).

Rules:
The first 2 rounds are a single race on the Purple course. You will receive 5 points for each ring you pass through (13 rings for a total of 65 points), 5 points for landing first, and points on your finish location (10 5 2 1) and 5 points for the bonus ring. 

Every round after the first 2 rounds will be the best score after 2 races one on the Purple Course and one on the Gold (15 rings for a total of 75 points) course.

if there are enough players to justify it there will be a "B" tournament for those players who loose in the first round with their own awesome prizes.

When you are flying do not hold space bar or use "WASD" while flying, if you move after you have landed you will receive 0 points for your finish. (this does not include contact with another player)

FAQ:
I don't own an elytra, can I still enter? Yes! contact DeaDCorE (or another staff member) and i will provide you with an unbreakable elytra to practice/compete with. However you will have until 1 week after the tournament to return this elytra. The penalty for failure to return the loaner elytra is having your balance set to $-1000000 until you return it.

Are we allowed to use fireworks? No

I am not good / my computer isn't good enough to use elytra is there another way to participate?  Yes, I need people to help judge whether both players pass through each ring. There will be an awesome secret gift for those who help judge. Reply to this thread with your minecraft ign and "i want to help"

Why should you be unbanned: Well im honestly embarrassed of this ban because i think this was a really dumb thing i did.
heres the run down, I warped to OakFarm and saw a beacon unclaimed i thought it would be funny to destroy that beacon and leave it there. A few minutes later i have a change of heart to fix that beacon but then then i arrive back the beacon already despawned and i panicked, I had no idea what to do but then i remember about this place that had a few beacons and ill admit that i griefed this place too a while back. I wanted to take the beacon there to repair the other one but i thought because the house looked abandoned and thought it was okay to take it. So i took it and brought it to that beacon spot to repair it. I now regret this action and hate that i did this in the first place and i apologize for my actions i committed and ask to be forgiven.

Why do you want to come back: Its a fun server and i poured in a lot of time into my town and met lots of nice people.

Why should you be unbanned: To start, I'd to say I acknowledge that what I did was very disrespectful to the community of the server. I understand that the use of X-Ray creates almost every problem for the economy, world, and item inflation. Why did I do it? I honestly don't know. I gave a lot of thought after being banned and realized that I actually really enjoyed being on the server. It was a great stress reliever for myself and was fun to meet new people on. I enjoy mining, but I guess I just got too impatient with the busy In real life schedule I have as a musician and wanted to get materials/money faster to grow upon. Honestly, it was a stupid mistake that I should have never thought of in the first place. 

Also, after putting a lot of time into the server and meeting new people, I feel like its a waste for me to just take off and leave the things I have built. Not just my house that took about 10 hours in total to build, but also the friendships I made. In a way, I accept if I don't get unbanned for what I did, but want to be sure that everyone knows I still care about the server and the people in it.

Today is the exact day where four years ago I had joined HomeTown, four years ago today seems so unclear in my mind now to even be thinking of where I am in my life. This server has brought me so many friends, memories and bonds with people that I don't think I would have today without HomeTown. Today I'd like to share my journey of my past four years here, with you.

During January of 2015, I had met two players on a skyblock server, (_SebMC and Mr_Sox) who we became close friends and spoke to each other on the daily. Over time we became close friends and added each other on skype and spoke more and more often, whilst playing this server the other two players started to play less and then told me they were quitting the skyblock server to join another. At this time, I loved this server, I was only young and didn't really grasp much understanding of how servers worked, but they had told me we had to leave due to another issue with a friend of theirs (Brockist). I had refused to join this new server they found, which they told me was so fun and had some really nice people on and kept telling me I needed to leave the old server as the people there weren't so nice. One day, I caved in and joined this "amazing cool server" which was HomeTown.

At first I didn't understand the server too well, or how things worked or what I was meant to do. But over time I understood what this server was about, like gaining money, building, mining, but most of all it was for socialising. To me, HomeTown is a server where you can enjoy the game, but also talk and meet new people more frequently than if you were to join a PVP server. This was the beginning of what I didn't expect to be four years of my life.

Now, I'm not going to really talk about the bits in between, because its mostly about how things led to other things, people I've met and memories with them and things like exams. But I do want to thank a few people for how they've changed who I am, to what I could've been without them. (sorry might be a bit cringe?)

Seb, Sox, Brockist and Sarah, you guys were pretty much the reason I'm here on HomeTown. You brought me so many memories and I just wanted to say thank you. 

Chicken, although we don't speak as often, you've been by my side since day one. You're a great chickne and hope your kits are still doing well. 

Penguin, who's shown me what it's like to grow up before I actually do. Being your friend has let me see how you've grown up and while you've grown up I've mocked you to then realise I then follow the same steps as you in life. Going through my first 'real' exams to now driving and taking higher education. You're honestly an amazing person and thank you for being there when I needed someone.

Vil, honestly one of the best staff and people I've met to date. Hope you're doing well, if you ever see this. You had one of the most influences as you taught me so much. 

Star, Grimm, DK, during my first few years on HomeTown, when I was unsure what to do with my future, you all helped me with approaching ways to take on challenges and how to improve to be a better self. You all looked out for me and have always been such lovely people. 

Hessel, 4th, two amazing guys who do anything to make you feel better. I couldn't leave you out because you're both so sweet and caring that I had to mention you. Thank you for always being so positive and genuinely kind. 

To the current staff team, I never thought the staff team would actually change so much within what is actually a short time span. The current team is so amazing and I am so grateful to have amazing people to help people on the server with. You are all amazing in your own ways and I love you all <3 

To all my British friends, there are so many of you now I can't count it up anymore. You are all so fantastic and have always kept me company with our different time zone to America. I love you all and you're all amazing. Shout out to Sky, who's stuck around most the time to also meet me <3 and Z0ck3t who's just damn cute and a super amazing friend <333

To those who left along the way, those know who they are, who I've ever called friend, I have you in thought and send my best wishes out to you. I hope you are all doing well out in the real world. 

Thank you to everyone (even those not mentioned) (or I forgot and I'm so sorry) you've made my time here mostly enjoyable even when I've not had the best of times, and I can't wait for another year.

Hello there! I'm new here, and I go by the IGN of BelgianChoco. Nice to meet you.

As some of you know, I've been part of this server for a very very very long time, and im nearing close to four years or something like that, But the problem is, I have no idea the day I joined, Sadly I cannot now find it as I used to play on my dad's computer, and account (Cilgalad) The only thing I can remember on my first day is mining an obsidian tower for a player named DK, (Wasn't the admin DK, but was a different player) The only evidence I have of my existence on the server was a video dated in 2016, so far, but I joined before vote ranks even existed, if y'all could search your chat logs to help me, that would just be awesome! --For Clarification, I remember joining in 2014 - 2015 but only true evidence I have is of 2016
