Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?):
I am writing this appeal to request that you unban me from the SMP server. I understand that my actions of griefing other players' builds were completely unacceptable and violated the server's rules. I am deeply sorry for what I did and I take full responsibility for my actions.

I have learned from this experience and realize that my behavior was unacceptable and caused harm to the server community. I assure you that such behavior will never happen again. I have taken the time to reflect on my actions and understand that they were not only unfair to other players but also disrespectful towards the server staff who work hard to maintain a fun and fair gaming environment.

Why do you want to come back:
I would like to come back to the HometownMC server because I have made many good friends in the community and I miss playing with them. I also love the server's unique features and would like to continue exploring and building in its vast world. I understand that trust needs to be earned, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to regain the trust of the server and its staff. I hope you will consider my appeal and grant me a second chance.

I saw other ban appeals and I've noticed that you guys always ask questions. Here are some answers for them.

1. Grief and theft are not allowed on the server because they violate the fundamental principles of fair play and respect for other players. Griefing involves destroying, damaging, or modifying another player's constructions without their consent, which can ruin their hard work and progress on the server. Theft is also a form of griefing where players take items that belong to others without permission, thereby causing harm to the victim's gameplay experience.

2. Players are not allowed to take or break things that belong to other players, regardless of whether they are claimed or not. This is because it violates the basic principle of respect for property and ownership. Even if an item is not locked or protected, it is still considered the property of the player who placed it, and taking or breaking it without permission is against the server rules.

3. The grief that a player does can have a significant impact on the owner of the build. It can cause them frustration, anger, and disappointment as they see their hard work destroyed or damaged without any reason. Additionally, it can discourage them from continuing to play on the server or engaging with other members of the community. Griefing can undermine the sense of trust and mutual respect that is essential for creating a positive and enjoyable gaming environment for everyone involved.

I cannot properly write a ban appeal for .RotaryInk952431 Because I know I ban evaded, but what else did I greif? Also sorry for my inactivity it's just that I've been dealing with stuff.

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): I was not under the impression that I would be griefing because I was unaware that the land and items I took were claimed.  I’m very new to multiplayer and thought that the area was abandoned since it was unclaimed.  Is it technically griefing property without it being claimed? If that’s how the rule works I’ll happily give back the 2block of emerald and 2block of diamond and whatever else I took.  Truthfully I really thought that it was abandoned because I have spent many hours on the server and would never leave said blocks unclaimed. I’m sorry for inconvenience to whoever I took them from and would never grief on purpose.  I think I only took the blocks of emerald and diamond but I’d happily give back whatever I took.


Why do you want to come back: this is the first server I’ve been on where everyone has always been very helpful with my noobie questions.  I also have not had people destroy my area so why would I purposely destroy someone else’s.  I have worked hard on this server and am not even sure that thats the reason of my ban.   And sorry for the first post I was blindsided by the ban and didn’t realize a format was needed.

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): I'm sorry for what I did, I really am. I should have done better and followed the rules. I was messing around with warps and tried /warp diamond not knowing about it because I am new. I'm not going to say I should be unbanned because It's not up to me. But if I do get unbanned this will never happen again . I borrowed my friend's mc acc to play again because I thought I could do good for a while, then reveal myself and show everyone how I've changed. But that didn't happen. I didn't know I could ban appeal because after I got banned I felt too guilty to try to go back to the server. I'm sorry for wrecking the stuff. I returned everything. But most of all. Even if I don't get unbanned, please tell DiamondBlockBen That I regret what I did because I feel I betrayed him. 
EDIT: I looked through some other ban appeals and learned my lesson from other responses. Just because something isn't claimed doesn't mean It's free for the taking. And UberDeathBunny, if you are the one who responds, please don't put that "I banned you for breaking the rules and you don't belong here" stuff. It's hurtful. Just accept or deny my appeal. pls? Also, I have researched you from prior ban appeals to prove that I really want to be unbanned and have discovered that you usually give questions that must be answered in 5-8 sentences. I will inform you That I am ready to answer those questions. (From the bans I have studied) You seem to deal with x-rays a lot which seems hard. Also, even if I don't get unbanned, please talk to the other staff about /warp diamond. It seems to sometimes cause problems like with me. Maybe consider moving it to a private warp for only certain people? It is too tempting.

Why do you want to come back: Hometown server is the best and only server I've ever been to. When I play there, I feel like I'm finnaly somewhere where people notice me. Everyone there is so friendly and nice. I already miss everyone there.

Why should you be unbanned: I understand my mistake. I shouldn't have commit grief. I talked to my friend about this and they told me that I did a big mistake. I don't wanna grief anymore because that is very annoying and that is just a bad thing to do. I imagined if my house got destroyed. I would feel bad. I love spending time in your server. It is a wholesome place. The community is absolutely amazing. I shouldn't have caused trobe for such good people like you guys. I feel really bad for doing this.

Why do you want to come back: I wanna come back to play and enjoy my time with my friends in this awesome server. This place is great. I wanna make friends here and play minecraft with them. This is my favorite server I've been in. I am voting for you guys by the way

Why should you be unbanned (Why should we give you a second chance?): before I tell you why i should be unbanned i first want to say why i did it. I was x-raying becose i neaded ingame money to buy those nice invisable lamps. and i dident nead 1 or 2 of the lamps but hunderds so this would cost alot o money. at first i just mined normaly for diamonds or used the drill and then poked around to cover more ground and see more blocks or hopefully diamonds. but it became boring an at one point the game itself also became boring becose of no progression becose i was just mining and not bulding anymore. also i started working and not go to scool so i had alot less of time to play so i starter using xray to speed up the progress this ofcourse is not an excuse of using xray but stil i did and should not have. Now the reason why i should be unbanned. I do understand what i did was bad and i wont do it agan becose i donkey nevver hits his head twice on the same rock. i also think i was a great member in the comunety and peaple knew me from my bulds just like the big house that i was bulding. so i think i deserve a second chance to keep bulding and to have fun with the other peaple that r on the server. 

Why do you want to come back: i want to come back becose after the ban i just took a break from the game itself and ofcourse the server. the game minecraft had always been a game where i just come back to and sometimes take long breaks from. i also wanna come back to talk to the peaple that r on the server and to contineu my quest to make all the blocks in minecraft but then big. and also all the animals. this wil take a long long time but was a thing that i enjoyed doing.

Why should you be unbanned: It was only recently after being asked back by a good friend to help with a project that I even remembered I was banned. It has been almost two years and over that time span I have grown and learned not just from this mistake but just on how to be a better person in general. I understand what I did not only made the game a nightmare for some players as the griefing must’ve been a pain to clean up. I also understand the massive consequences xraying can have as injecting that many resources into the economy can ruin the experience for players who mine their resources legitimately. 


Why do you want to come back: I’ve been asked back by a friend to help on a seriously big project, I was a player who ran a small town, had an official warp, and a player who prior to cheating had contributed to the server. I simply wish to continue contributing to the server, and to make amends for my mistakes. I believe I have become a better person who has grown and learned. I also believe that I have had sufficient time to think about my mistakes. So with everything in mind I would like to kindly ask the staff of HomeTown SMP to repeal my ban.
