Today I decided to give back to the community of HomeTown, as they are a one-of-a-kind group that no other server offers. I am doing an Elytra giveaway! 

The giveaway is simple: Put your full username as a reply to this thread, and I will use a Random Number Generator to choose which reply wins the Elytra! Anyone can enter this giveaway, and anyone can win this luxury item. However, there are some rules to this giveaway: 

1. You may only enter your name once. 
   
2. No adding any alternate accounts.
   
3. Do not attempt to bribe me in any way, shape, or form.
   
4. You cannot enter someone else's name. If they want to enter, they can do it themselves.

Why should you be unbanned: After cooling down and thinking about how stupid the argument was, I realized I could've done better than I did. I do not know why I bothered to get into the situation in the first place. I was in the full wrong but at the moment of the incident I felt like I was in the right. Derpedo I'd like to apologize to you for the actions I took. I am hoping you read this, so I'm sorry for the path I decided to take during the convo. I should have just let you do your job that you have been doing very well for a while now. I feel stupid for what I did and I would love it if I could come back to the server and join the amazing community on it! 

Why do you want to come back: I want to come back for the sole reason anyone wants to come back. HomeTown is an amazing server and I spent a lot of my time and work on it. I hate the way I treated Derpedo and would not do it again. I love the server and would rather be a part of the community than against it. I was just plain ignorant, and so hopefully this gets accepted. Again, I'm very sorry Derpedo.

Hello everyone,

Today I'm excited to showcase a competition for anyone on the server willing to participate. This competition is something I've been wanting to hold, but never truly knew what the event was going to be. But today, with recent summer projects coming together, I figured I'd use this to my advantage.

I am starting an Artmap Contest! This competition will be open for anyone on the server that has access to artmap and wants to win some prizes! There are two different prizes for two different ideas. (Note: This competition is only available for VIP members, as they are the only players with access to artmap)

The first idea is for a 3x2 (3 wide, 2 tall) design showcasing the HomeTown logo. You can find the logo on the website, around the server, etc. The design can be of any fashion you desire, however I ask the colors remain the same as they have always been. If you need any ideas on colors, feel free to go to the spawn to get color ideas, or go to server-made builds to spark your curiosity.

The second idea is for a 1x1 (single) artmap design for my string of shops, Emo/Emporium. I'm looking for a simple, yet popping design that grabs players' attention when they see it. The design can be anything you can think up, but I ask the colors match Emporium's color schemes.

This contest starts today, May 22th, and will end on June 1st! Any designs submitted after June 1st will not be accepted. If you are wanting to participate in this competition. All art designs must be placed at /warp EmoArt, where there is plenty of room for people to spread their work out. You do not have to make the art at the location, just when you're setting up your design. 

When setting up artmap designs, please keep these in mind:

• You will need to bring your own Easels. 
  
• You must keep 2-4 blocks distance between each others art.
  
• you must have a sign with your full username on it so I know who's art it is.

Why do you want to come back: You're all really nice and the server is set up just the way I like it. I understand if yall don't want me back though. I wouldn't try to x-ray again, it's apparently futile lol. I sorrys <3

-edit : I just noticed that sillyness and joking is not appreciated in ban appeals. I'm not trying to make little of this, X-raying is a shitty thing to do. I wasn't setting out to dominate the economy with ill gotten gains, I was just trying to get myself set up, and buy some enchanted tools. I really am sorry, I could have just asked for stuff. Unfortunately I'm stubborn and don't like asking for things. I do like you all a lot. I've also been reading the questions others have been asked to answer about why x-raying is wrong. I don't think I could say it any better than the many ways it's likely been said before. It's obviously wrong, and it obviously does effect all players. No one who does it thinks it's harmless, they're just hoping they don't get caught, and I was no different.

Why should you be unbanned: Well, there isn't any good reason that I should be unbanned. When I first joined this server, I read the rules. I knew very well that X-ray mods were strictly forbidden on the server. I realize that what I have done is wrong, and takes away from Hometown's survival feeling. I am truly sorry that I used an X-ray mod, and if I were to be unbanned, I would not use it anymore.

Why do you want to come back: Although I have only been a member for a few short days, I would enjoy staying in this community. The Mods are nice, friendly, and are always there for you. The members of the community give warm welcomes to new people who join, and, overall, this is an excellent server. I would enjoy coming back.

Because I want to continue playing on this server, continue to have fun however, in my eyes it can be funnier knowing where the resources were, I wanted to build and grow. It wasn't hurting anyone. all I wanted was Redstone and enough diamond to make a full set plus a sword. So please unban, you wont catch me using it again

Why should you be unbanned: My reason for using x-ray was to acquire gold to make it into golden carrots to breed my horses that I bought, to try and breed the best horses possible, I really really love this server and it is the first one I have come across which you get to talk to friendly people and enjoy yourself, I want to be able to breed my horses quickly to get foal as they are super cute and they grow up. I got bored of mining as I kept falling in holes or being killed by zombies which was really annoying as I lost all my stuff 

Why DO I want to come back: I really love the staff as they are friendly and helpful and the community here are really nice, I would never hack again as I don't want to get banned on a great server as it was the first time I used it
