Hey everyone, so I have decided to open a new shop to the server and Bare Basics is the name.

Have you been on the server and struggled to find an item and every shop you go to is sold out?

Does it ever seem like every shop you go too is either too big, laggy, and confusing to find anything?

Does it ever feel like every shop you go has no aesthetic and its completely unorganized?

Well, do we have the solution for you!!! /warp BareBasics opening December 21st of 2018 is the one stop shop for, you guessed it, the bare basics. This store offers the basic woods, stones, and other items you need for that next building project. Or to find that item you have been hunting for. Each section of our shop will have a list of what is down that way so you never get confused or get lost trying to find that special item. We will have weekly specials, the shop fully restocked every 2 weeks and an ever-expanding roster of store goods and items. This is the place to go when every other store feels barren. 

Our first stage will include basic woods, stones, and dirt to the public for great prices and great services. with future expansions adding more products.

Why should you be unbanned: I was wrongfully accused of theft and I do not like it. When I was put in jail, i was confused because i did nothing, i went to mxbank to put in items and was confused by the sign that said closed, i asked how i would get items if it was closed and the owner said it wasnt, i went to machine and it looked very broken. i then left to let him try to fix it, then i found my self in prison. i was asking what i did and they said i robbed them (wich i didnt). i then found my self banned. 

Why do you want to come back: because i put a lot of effort in to this server and was wrongfully accused. i understand why they thought i did it since i was the only responder, but i just wanted to put in some items.

To start off, Happy Holidays to everyone on HomeTown! I hope everyone has a great holiday season with your families, and safe travels to wherever you may go!

The holiday season get's me in such a mood to giveaway things and be generous to people. As a result, I will be giving away 2 Christmas-Themed Shulker Boxes! As many of you know, I have a plethora of in-game cash and items that I never use, and I figured that I'd offer the chance for 2 lucky winners to receive these items!

Now, before I explain how this giveaway will work, let me tell you what you can win! I will be giving away 2 Shulker Boxes full of items and goodies. The 1st Shulker Box will be given away to a player with 50 votes or less. This allows newer players to receive items that can help get them rolling on HomeTown. Inside this box will be, and not limited to, the following: Diamonds, OP Tools, Potions, OP diamond armor, Enchanted Books, a beacon, and many more items!

The second Shulker Gift Box will contain rare/expensive items that more experienced players may be looking for. Nonetheless, this box will be open to anyone in the giveaway! Inside this box will be, and not limited to, the following: Elytra, Beacons, 1 stack of Sponge Blocks, an OP Trident, Dragon Egg, Spawn Eggs, and many more items! 

Now, how to enter the giveaway! The admission is simple: Simply reply to this forum post with your in-game username, NOT your /nickname, and your rank and the number of votes you have, which can be checked using /vr. (Note: Do NOT put any of the VIP ranks as your rank, please use your rank that you have earned via voting.) 

As per usual, there are some rules that need to be made present before the giveaway begins: 

1. You many only enter this giveaway once. Do NOT put your name multiple times, or you will be automatically disqualified. (Alternate accounts count as you entering more than once, don't do it.)

Reason for your ban: we found an town someone had build it looked really grief (not by us) we saw an beacon that wasnt being used so we thought we could take it so it would have a better use - we didnt think it would be reason for a ban cause we didnt know that it counted as grief only taking the beacon and not destroying anything else

we were banned by Uber 

Why should you be unbanned: we dont want to get instantly unbanned but atleast get it shortened after all i did something wrong cause i didnt knew better but know i know what i did was wrong! and ill never do it again, it was an mistake what i did and not okay at all! normally we danes are very kind to everyone and laughing to everyting so im ashamed over what i did and want to give back the stolen items to the rightful owner and directly say sorry for what i did. 

Why do you want to come back: we all love the server and spend alot time in there. but also cause we never normally do such things we are always sweet and trying to help, and now that we are aware of what we didnt wasnt okay we'll never do it again and they can have the beacon back that was the only thing we took that i know of but they can ask for everything and well replace it! we are danes and we are friendly! 

EXTRA INFO: so u aware im danish and have a little trouble with english but i hope u guys understand else please tell me and ill try to re-write it so u can understand it - and anyways i am the only who derserved the ban i was the one mining the beacon my friends had nothing to do with it they just wanted to se the place, and Lukart only wanted to try the dragon head i found he wanted to place it again after trying it out but well return everything! and all personally say sorry for what we did to the owners of the items

Why do you want to come back: I want to come back beacuse I spend alot of time on it not even with my friends only I also go on there by myself and we had just found a reallly nice place to build on the server and it would be annoying to loose all the pogress

We truly regret doing what we did and not only wish to be able to return to the server but also give back what we have taken. It was only a few things but it was enough to get myself and my friend banned from the server. We really love this server alot, not only because we play with good friend on it, but also because we like how everything on this server is made and how everything functions. We should´ve read the rules more thoroughly and we know. Our mistake has cost us our place on the server and we really want it back. This was our first mistake and would also be our last, if we´d get one last chance to rejoin the hometown community and rejoin the server and play more respectfully and be more conscious about our dicisions. We´re so sorry for what my friend and I did and we really would love to be able to play again. We have invested alot of time on the server, building, mining and even making friends and we dont want to lose all of that in vane.

Our appeal is simple and streight forward but hopefully enough to let me and my friend play on the hometomn mc server again.

We Deeply apologize for our missbehaviour and hope this can be solved

P.S.: we still have the taken things, and would more than gladly given them back to the original owner.

It's been a bit of time since I've helped run a town, yet it is on this server I find myself as a mayor of the town I am most excited to deliver to a server community. Kelowna is quickly becoming a community of excellent builders and great people. So, without further adieu - here is the only major forum plug i'll do of the town. This can also serve as an information and discussion thread for the town as well.




Kelowna is a town on the Hometown Server (Who would’ve guessed) that currently has 37 residents residing in it (as of 22 November 2018). Established on the 9th of November, it opened its doors on the 15th of the month. Featuring a town hall, town farms, a town mine and a growing network of free food dispensers, Kelowna is an ideal town for new players as well as those more experienced on the server.

A passionate and experienced staff ensure that settling into the town is as seamless as possible with rapid yet controlled growth ensuring that the natural charm of the town is maintained alongside an active and flourishing community. The town features a national park with walking trails and campgrounds with soon to be added parkour and rock climbing facilities. There will soon be a market area opening.

The rules of Kelowna are pretty stock standard and are as follows:

1. Don’t grief
   
2. Don’t steal other people’s staff
   
3. When using public farms, replant/breed what you intend to harvest
   
4. Be civil and respectful
   
5. Only build in areas where staff have allowed you to
   
6. There is a 20 block above plot height restriction. If you get permission from town staff, you can build higher though.
   
7. Town staff reserve the right to revoke your claim to a plot or an apartment if you are deemed to be inactive.
   

1. If you’re in the Kelowna Party you can simply to /party home
   
2. Otherwise or instead of that, you can use /warp kelowna

Reason for your ban: I was supposedly banned for offensive comments to which i do not recall im sure you can check chat logs or something and see I never said anything offensive in chat but I do understand i put down the sign which said "UwU jewjitsu" and im sorry for that 

Who banned you: Darillium/Derpnut 

Why should you be unbanned: I won't do it again, me and my girlfriend just wanted to play some minecraft on the server with a couple friends we didn't intend on bringing in some offensive stuff and if we are unbanned I promise we won't do it again.

Why do you want to come back: I was having a good time building a small town in the cave with the others and I'm sorry we caused some trouble in the server even if it wasn't me in the chat I understand that I was suspiciously involved with the others.

Alright Boyos, here's the deal. I've had this discord for almost a year now and I'm trying to get it going again, that being said, I feel as if there needs to be a few things to keep in mind when joining this discord;


1] This is in no way shape or form, connected to Hometown, its rules, or its staffing
2] This is solely a social setting, feel free to use it for gaming or whatever, but know that if you want to talk while playing on Hometown, its probably best to just use the HTD server. 
3] Just because this isn't a hometown related server, doesn't mean there aren't any rules, and knowing this community I know that ya'll will be just fine.
4] My server is very... Nautish, Explicit, our rules are very different from hometowns, but I would like to keep in mind that I DO NOT allow any bullshittery in there.

I don't know what it's called but it's a plugin that allows mobs to stack, so you have 23x Zombie, instead of 23 zombies spawned, and when you kill one, the number drops to 22x, etc etc. It helps prevent lag when people create big farms, and you can still nametag passive mobs so they don't stack and you can reproduce!
