OK PEEPS So since schematica hasn't been updated in literal years, there's another mod called litematica that is available but it has like 10 steps in order to download. Imma try and Give some visuals here to help out

Ok first off you're gonna want MC closed while you install everything or it wont work right- trust me lol

• First- go to fabricmc.net gonna look like this- click that link
  

• gonna lead you to a page with options- do these options
  

• Download the installer, run the installer
  

• Install
  

• ok now you need to download some other things- First off litematica itself- if you look up 'litematica 1.14.4' on google it should be the first result, but get it off curseforge
  

• Download link is in the top corner
  

• Next you're gonna need to click the link to get to the Malilib thing- so do that
  

• Then go back into google- look up 'Mod menu fabric'
  

• First result- curseforge again
  
• Now on this page you're gonna wanna go to files- don't download the latest one it won't work
  

• Download the second to latest one
  

• then when all those are downloaded, move the modmenu, malilib, and litematica into your mods folder on mc- to get there (if you're on windows) put %appdata% in your file search bar and hit enter, it'll come up with .minecraft, then there will be a mods folder, they go in there
  

• Then you should be good to launch
  

Hi all, your friendly neighbor explosive lover here. So I'm really excited for this server reset, since it's a new opportunity to restart everything in a blank slate.

Now, I love my own creation, /warp Damascus, but to be honest, there are still certain things that I'm not fully content about it (mainly calculation errors etc). So, Damascus will appear once again in the new server, in a completely new form and shape. But for now, I want to give my old Damascus a grand farewell. And nothing says grand farewell better than a massive bombardment.

Here is the current /warp Damascus in its grandeur:




As you can see, it's still currently a bit too small. We can't have some serious fun in this tiny town.

So from this moment, I want to start recruiting people to help me build up Damascus, and prepare it for doomsday. The so-called core sector is considered complete, and I will need expansions in the residential areas.

If you're interested, please comment down below so I can add you to the trust list. People who I know to have experience building high density urban areas are always welcomed and prioritized.

The expected timeline for this Bomb-a-town event is:
6/9 to 20/9: Recruitment together with construction
20/9-27/9: Final touches, give the whole place a grand appearance.
28/9 till reset: Free for all!

Just curious if y'all have any goals / projects for the server when it resets that you guys want to work on

Hi folks and folkettes,

As we all know, the lag on the server as of the past (at least) couple months has been bad. The staff team today decided the best way to solve that issue is to reset the server. For those of you that have been here for many years, this most likely isn't surprising. The server maps, including builds, balances, items, etc will be wiped. Ranks will be kept. The details of this are still being ironed out amongst the staff members, and I assure you we're doing the best to make the best choices for everyone.

What does this mean?
A: A server reset is when we pick a new seed for the server, wipe the builds currently on the maps, and start over from scratch again like we just opened a new server for the first time.

What if I want to save my build? I've worked hard on it!
A: We understand that, and we're talking with Frost to try and find out a way to preserve this map for a little while on the old.hometownmc.com ip so players that would like to can download schematics of their build and re-create what they want to on the new server. If this does not seem like a viable option, further updates will be made on this official thread.

What about my rank?
A: VIP will be kept on the new server, and it will be properly updated to reflect the plugins we choose to keep, not keep, or add. Voting ranks will also be kept. HOWEVER we are currently discussing the possibility of changing up the voting ranks, whether it be removing old ones that were ultimately frivolous or adding new ones we thinking would truly be a "rank up" from where the previous rank had you.

Uh, Star, how long will this catastrophe take?
A: First of all, thanks for the faith you have in us, but once the server goes down for a reset, it will take a few days to clear out old data, secure old builds, and set up the new server again. There's no concrete timeline we can present to you right now because something will undoubtedly go wrong and cause a delay, but we will of course keep you updated using the Hometown Official Discord.

Yeah thanks for answering questions I don't care about, but WHEN WILL THIS ALL HAPPEN??!?!?11!?!
A: In under a month (*Star's time), so on the 28th of September. There will be annoucements before anything happens to remind you of when this is. You can continue playing on the server until this happens, however if this seems like an unreasonable timeline (too long? too short?) please let us know in the comments below.

A: Okay, ask below! We don't have all the answers yet, but we will do our best to answer any questions presented to us. This is not something we chose to do lightly, but ultimately we have decided it's the best for the server. If you choose to come back one day, which we hope you do, you will be welcomed with the same cheer you've helped us welcome other players with. A: We will have a grace period on warps! The current owners of a certain warp will have four weeks to rebuy it on the new server before it's open for anyone!
