Turtleville is a town built by me in an attempt to a) help newcomers, b) not go crazy because of reset. Anyways there isn't much to say... it has good walls, a shop, a beacon, conduit, community farms, and public services like 1.14 functional blocks and an enchanting table and brewing stand. I don't really know much about the unspoken rules of the server, and by that, I mean stuff that is impolite and unaccepted that you can't just see at /rules. By pranking I don't mean something that does NOT include killing or stealing items from the player. I mean something that will confuse the player. Like maybe building a nether like room around them with a portal inside that leads to the actual nether, making them unsure about what dimension they are in. Again I have absolutely no idea whether this is allowed or not, so please answer.

Who banned you: Staff.

Why should you be unbanned: I know that what I did was wrong. It was really stupid and I thought it would be funny. It turns out it wasn't really that funny and it got me banned. It was disruptive to everyone in the server and it was immature of me to do it. I can assure the entire staff team that this will never happen again.
Why do you want to come back: I want to come back to HomeTown because I really like the community and the Staff team. They were only doing what was right for the community and I completely understand and respect that. If I am unbanned I promise I will be a better person and I will think twice before disrupting chat.

Ciao fellers! As you know, I've helped build for some towns, and I used to have my own city named Frostland, but my own town failed because well, it was shit. Lol. With that aside, I've been developing an actual city on my personal server, which I will schematic over. However, I will like to have any help possible, such as rebuilding the buildings from my schematic files, interior, etc. If you are interested for this project, then lemme know, and you will keep all the profits associated with what you do for the city (though, if you do make the apartments and skyscrapers, I recommend you rent out the rooms instead of selling them). Just an idea so far, but I do plan to put it forward next month, so arrivedirci!

Why should you be unbanned: My friends and I didn't think it wasn't allowed to take blocks from the nether. 

Why do you want to come back: I would like to be unbanned because hometownmc is my favorite server and my friends and I play here on a regular basis.

Why do you want to come back: I love this server and want to come back to be a part of the community.

I didn't want to write this post, but I did anyway. My parents want me to focus more on schoolwork which means not a lot of computer time. Even though I've only been on here for about 3 months, I feel like I really got to know everyone. I made a lot of online friends. I might come on occaisonally during the weekends or holidays but I won't get to spend much time on here now that I've started 6th grade. I really wish I could stay on the server, I enjoy every minute, and I've made a lot of friends. For example:

ExtraHope: I enjoy goofing off with you so much. I feel less awkward having someone to relate to

ZeoMaddox: You encouraged me to do a lot of things on the server. You're always very optimistic and respectful.

Goron: You were very nice to me, and you've certainly build a lot of cool things in decimas.

Belgnbor: You're always very interested in what I'm currently building/doing and it means a lot that you take a few seconds to see what I've created.

Molten: The tnt launcher in Area 47 you showed me was amazing! You're really good at redstone.

EspInquisition: You totally industrialized our smelter island. Damascus is an amazing warp, you're a really good builder.

Cab: I'll never forget the day when I was still a new player on the server and you gave me a god sword and god tools. Sadly I lost the sword but I have been using the tools ever since. Thank you for your generosity to me.

Cil: you were one of the first people i ever met on HomeTown. You've got a great sense of humor, and you're an overall kind and great person.

I might be able to squeeze in some Minecraft time if I get done with my homework early but until then, farewell.

Howdy Homies, resident Radmin here bringing you guys a quick place to check for the most commonly asked questions regarding the upcoming server reset. You have questions and hopefully we've got the answers. 

When is the reset happening? We are actually going to be pushing the date forward just a touch, to the 28th of September. We have received a lot of feedback from you guys that you would like it done sooner and while we do understand (and agree, because we're as excited as you guys to get to play on the new server) there's still a decent amount of prep work that needs to be done to get everything exactly as we'd like it. 


Will a server reset really solve the problems we've been having? I've heard that 1.14 is just a laggy mess as a whole.    Well I'm glad you asked, imaginary other half of this conversation! In all honesty there is likely still going to be some lag when we move to the new server, as has been pointed out 1.14 is very poorly optimized as a whole, especially once you get over a certain number of players. Ideally though, the removal of all of the extraneous worlds (There are currently 11 that players have access to, and that bc of that can be loaded), especially the second survival world should make a pretty decent dent in things. That's not to mention the main reasons that a lot of this is being done, things are breaking around the server that a reset will 100% fix and that absolutely need to be adressed. I'm sure a lot of you guys have noticed some of your animals/mobs/etc disappearing as of late? It's an issue that's been occurring across the server as a result of how many entities are on the server between all these worlds. 


Will this fix any of the broken plugins we have? Fantastic question! So far we are pretty much certain that we will be able to get Artmap back up and running once we move to the new server, most of the issues we have been having have been due to cluttered databases and other issues that come with a server that's been run for a couple years


How can I save a copy of my builds for me to copy and use later? Our very own Illogicalsong has put together lovely instructional post on how to install Litematica, a schematic mod, here: (https://hometownmc.com/forums/showthread...litematica)


What about all my warps?? There will be a 4 week grace period in which your warps will be considered "reserved"


Fly? Not for the first 2 weeks


Will there be spawn roads like last time? As of right now we will not be allowing for spawn roads as they make claims a lot more confusing.


Will we keep our claimblocks? Not in the current amounts you have them, staff are discussing options still on this one so we'll keep you updated.


Will slots have elytra right away? Most likely no, this is not 100% set in stone but we're leaning towards leaving it out for the first couple of weeks. 


Why don't you have more questions here? This is an FAQ you nerd. Leave me alone! I've been busy! You guys can help out by posting some of the questions that you would like me to respond to in the comments, obviously not everything is set in stone so the response to many of them may just be "Not sure yet" or "In discussion" but it can't hurt to ask, as questions come in, I'll add them to the master post so you don't have to scroll through the comments, which seemed to be the big problem on the other thread, questions were being asked and answered multiple times bc people (understandably) didn't want to scroll through all the pages of comments. :^)

I'm Atticus (not my real name ofc), but I've been referred to as Slizz (Which isn't my name or really a name I use all too often, explain later), Atti, and Atty. I started playing minecraft about the time the Enderman came around (Beta 1.8/ Adventure update vets, raise your hands!).

I don't exactly remember joining hometown but I will list some if not all my feats:

Many of you have thrown out some great ideas that you'd like to see implemented in the new server. 

Fear not, your suggestions have not fallen on deaf ears! In fact, we'd like to hear more from YOU the players! 



We are now taking any and all suggestions into consideration, so please, post your ideas below!
